A superb late Regency / William IV mahogany lyre shaped library arm chair. The flat topped, gently curving back flowing into swept scrolling arms. The show wood reeded frame emphasising the lyre shape & terminating in draught moulded roundels to the arms. The bottom rail with squared off fan moulded corners. Standing on ring turned & reeded tapering forelegs with brass cators. Now fully re-upholstered in a duck egg blue velvet embossed with a typically Regency flame motif.
