Anthony Pagani is listed in Bamfield's Barometer Makers as working at Goose Gate, Nottingham between 1818~25.
This very nice & elegant Regency mahogany wheel barometer is decorated with boxwood & ebony double stringing to the case edge.
The broken gable pediment, centred by a brass urn finial with a floral / stellar inlay below. A feature repeated below the dial.
Either side of the long thermometer are conforming inlaid conch shells.
The 8" silvered dial with nice engraving with the makers name.
