this company were renowned for their quality & were often compared to Gillows of Lancaster.
This is a fine example of a late Victorian Jacobean17th century style double hump back two seater settee
& bears the company's trade plaque on the underframe.
The walnut show wood frame with moulded swept cross stretchers & scrolling feet, standing on original castors.
Superbly re-upholstered in a typical period style gold fabric with lattice & fleur-de-lys motif. Feather squab cushion.
