This mid 17th century oak coffer is of very desirable size & condition. The 3 panel moulded top lifting on its original hinges to reveal the till / candle box. The conforming 3 panel front, nicely carved with diamonds below an arcaded frieze. The stiles with decorative barbers pole inlay of bog oak & beech. 42" x 22" x 24" high. Circa 1660. £2250
