1809~18, 27 Davies Street 1823. An example of their
work is seen in fig. 352.
The excellent quality eight day twin fusee movement
has lancet shaped plates & is engraved with the makers
name & address. It sounds the hours on a bell & has
the refinement of a repeat function. The lancet shaped
case is typical of the Regency period, being ebonised,
Gothic in taste with symmetrical brass stringing throughout.
Original lions mask handles & brass side sound frets.
