A pleasure to have found this fabulous oak back stool / side chair dating from the late 17th century.
The arched carved & scrolled top rail supported by tapering ring turned & baluster side supports.
The panelled seat above a simimlar high arched moulded front stretcher.
The forelegs & H stretcher all block & baluster turned.
Excellent condition.
Circa 1680.
