This Georgian, circa 1775, oak & mahogany Lancashire dresser base of petite dimensions, just 5 feet in length.
The original cross-banded lift up top opening to reveal the deep storage space.
The graduated arrangement of drawers, 4 dummy over 2 real, are mahogany cross-banded
with good original brass handles & escutcheon and flanked by reeded quarter columns
with line inlaid mahogany column stops. Panelled sides.
All standing most handsomely on ogee bracket feet & scalloped apron.
Luscious colour and patination, in fine condition & of lovely proportions ~as nice as they come!
